Project history

Wooden hull. Ch44, 45 and 46 were completed by Germans as RA4, 3 and 5 respectively. Their fate is unknown. Ch47 and 48 were broken up by Germans on slipways.

Modernizations

1942, FNFL ships: + 1 x 1 - 40/39 QF Mk VIII.

Naval service

Ch41, 42 and 43 were captured by British 3.7.1940 and later transferred to FNFL.
