Project history

Australian ASI315 design. At first four boats of that design were ordered in 1985 but order was cancelled with the change in Fiji's government, boats were transferred to Tonga and other Pacific island countries. Three boats of improved version were ordered again in 1992. Carry 5m boarding launch.

Modernizations

2010-2012, all: central shaft was removed (2 Caterpillar 3516 Phase II diesels, 2820hp, 20kts).
