Project history

Ordered in 1954, these units were modified Halland class destroyers. They mourned a different armament, more electronics, and different interior arrangements than their near sisters in Sweden. Dutch electronics, with M4 type radar directors for gun armament. 2 x 6 - 103 RFLs on 120mm turrets.
