Project history

LCI(L) infantry landing craft, LCI(G) infantry landing craft (gun), LCI(M) infantry landing craft (mortar), transferred by USN to China.

Modernizations

None.

Naval service

About 25 LCI(L) were received by China at all. 14 craft, including at least 3 LCI(G), went to PRC (Min 301 - 331). 5 craft (1 LCI(M) and 4 LCI(G)) went to Taiwan. 4 ships of PRC Navy were in service in 1982.
