Project history

Patrol vessel intended for coast guard, search and rescue service. Possessed fire fighting and salvage equipment. Ship was completed in 1916 and requisitioned by Royal Navy as Stoic. After the war she was re-purchased by Chile.

Naval service

In 1945 Piloto Sibbald was converted to tug but classified as coast guard vessel and served till 1960s.
