Project history

Four coastal minesweepers (AMC, later MCB) were ordered in 1950, followed by ten more in 1951; they were based closely on the British 'Ton' class with wood planking and aluminium framing.

Modernizations

1972, all survived as patrols: - minesweeping equipment

Naval service

No significant events.
