Project history
Enlarged version of patrol craft Jacques Oudart Fourmentin serving in the French Customs. Ordered in December 2012 as replacement for salvage ship A963 Stern and coastal tug A996 Albatros and A950 Valcke. Steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Each ship carries 2 fast 37kts inspection RIBs. Abbreviature RDS means Ready Duty Ship.
